Ocean started his prolific music career in Montreal, where he co-founded with his friend Nicolas, a band called Cashba with some musicians from the band “Men Without Hats” in the 80’s.... The band became number 1 in Canada on indies chart and their video was on MTV and “Much Music”. He co-wrote the 2 Hits songs “Here He Comes Again” and “Feel The Life”, which became a masterpiece video and featured the future celebrity  Genevieve Borne and others.

You see above Ocean at the Montreal Film Festival premiere with The President of Canada, Pierre Trudeau. Ocean received a nomination for Best Producer for Instrumental Album of the Year for a Felix ( Canadian Grammy).

What a day for the composer Ocean, he just got news from Director Marshall Frech that the Number one PBS show “The Water’s Edge” received 2 Emmy Award Nominations and one of those was Ocean’s for Best Film Score.

Ocean has been in the music and film industry for many decades and is an award-winning composer for his songwriting hits and film scores, and is also a dynamic producer, image consultant, actor and coach. He was commissioned to do the Music for NASA “Cassini Project” and his music was played for the White House and the Congress. He was chosen as one of the main composers for the A Bio Feedback Game featuring Deepak Chopra. Ocean has teach a Class at The university of Colorado on the Power of music in film and Donate his music for the Community college of Santa Fe. Ocean is the voting member for Naras, Grammy  Awards.
